Depuis sa création en 2000, Ozan Trio n'a cessé de chercher à répondre au mieux aux aspirations musicales et poétiques de notre temps, n'hésitant pas pour cela à se démarquer singulièrement des sonorités habituelles de la musique bretonne actuelle. Au-delà d'un modernisme facile et stéréotypé, Ozan Trio cherche avant tout à accompagner les mutations de notre société en les relayant sur le plan artistique à travers une expression bretonne renouvelée.
Loin de se contenter d'exposer le résultat d'un travail musical solitaire, Ozan Trio cherche avant tout à se porter au devant du public et à communiquer avec lui. Ce besoin d'échange et de partage, démarche fondatrice du trio, est très vite devenu indispensable, tant il est source d'émulation artistique.
